Rewards
When using food as a reward we use a variable based approach. This means we change how often and how much we reward to keep the dog motivated and engaged. We also use affection and play in our training, as we reward each dog with what they find valuable.
Place Cot
This space is used to train calmness, think of it as an off switch for your dog. It becomes another safe space for your dog to exist without always interacting. We first teach the boundary and then allow them to settle into a calmer state of mind.

Crate
We use the crate for dogs of all ages and sizes. It is a safe place for them to decompress in between training sessions and to go when they cannot be directly supervised. By controlling the environment when they are out of the crate we make their time meaningful and have the ability to then pattern good behaviour.
